Yorkshire pudding

Yorkshire pudding for toad in the hole
Heat oven to 200C:
Batter: 2eggs; 8oz white plain flour; 1pint milk, pinch salt.
Also 2tbs sunflower oil to coat dish.
Coat the base of a large pyrex dish with the sunflower oil, place in oven till 200C temperature is reached (usually takes 10-15 mins). Pour in batter till about 2cm deep (usually about 3quarters of the batter). Bake for 25-30mins.
For toad in the hole, heat the oil, then bake the sausages in the oil for 10mins before pouring the batter into the dish to cover the sausages up to half-deep. (The batter will rise.)
